    Man the PR machine in sports is just nonstop lol.

    I really am starting to feel confident that the Blazers can acquire some real assets via trade. The money is what makes it all hard to put together

    I’m glad I decided long ago that I don’t really care what happens and I’m just looking forward to some clarity

    Scoot drops to us and we trade him for a star? Cool

    We take Scoot/Miller and convince Dame to run it back for another year? Also cool

    No trades come to fruition and Dame and the franchise amicably move on from each other? I would be sad, but also cool with going that direction so long as we tried to find pieces around Dame first.

    The only thing I would be mad at would be like trading 3 or Shaedon for OG or a similar non-star.

    They were going to report this no matter what, especially with the Pelicans rumors. It’s smokescreen season, and they’re going to posture that they LOVE Scoot even if they want Miller, both to game us and teams looking to trade up for Scoot.

    Not saying they don’t take Scoot, just saying nothing is real.

    Completely cool with this because I think Miller is a better player now than scoot and will be a better player in the future.

    Having either of them going to us is fine. Scoot has all that trade value which would be awesome but lets not act like adding Miller is bad.

    It really seems like both Charlotte and Portland are trying to drive up the value on Scoot. There’s no other reason to keep pumping out this kind of propaganda.
