Knicks Rumors ARE HOT ft. Bradley Beal & Kristaps Porzingis via ESPN & SNY



New York Knicks rumors are heating up as Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis have been connected to the Knicks. Bradley Beal trade rumors are buzzing and Alan Hahn via ESPN said he expects the Knicks to be aggressive if the star scorer becomes available. Ian Begley of SNY is also reporting that the Knicks bringing back Porzingis in NBA Free Agency is not all that likely. Alan Hahn on Bradley Beal trade rumors:
I would imagine if he does become available, you would see the Knicks be very aggressive and trying to get him. You put him next to Jalen Brunson and you got a backcourt that is one of the best in the league as far as scoring goes, very unstoppable. He is at a point in his career where he is about winning. The Knicks have all the things the Wizards would need.

Ian Begley on Kristaps Porzingis trade rumors:
The Knicks don’t have the cap space to sign Porzingis, so they’d need to add him via sign-and-trade with Washington. Porzingis would help the Knicks spread the floor for Brunson, RJ Barrett and Julius Randle (though Randle or Barrett would presumably be in the trade). Any sign-and-trade for Porzingis would also likely include Mitchell Robinson if the Knicks withheld Barrett or Randle from the deal. The prospect of bringing Porzingis back to New York on a long-term deal may look good on paper, but it would be a significant commitment for the Knicks, and it doesn’t seem like a path they’d go down at this time.

    Much rather trade for Donovan Mitchell than Beal. He’s younger and his contract is not nearly as bad.

    Also, we not have to give up Barrett or Randle to get Porzingus. Robinson and Fournier’s salary pretty much gets you there. Probably have to add a protected 1st round pick in the deal too.

    Hard Pass: Brad is expensive… new cba would mean we can’t have much else. He’s not a number 1 on a championship or even playoff team. He’s proven that much already. Unless they take the unwanted contracts + randle or IQ, I’m not on board. They will want the house for Beal.

    I like the trade if the Knicks are going to trade Julius Randle for Bradley bill I like it but I think a better trade would be Donovan Mitchell in his contract is better than Bradley bills. But I also like Kelly Obrey Jr That will also be a good look for the Knicks to look at as well

    I wouldnt trade for beal. Overprice and his age. Knicks are on a great path. With "youth". I would go after players with a good contract or age. That can grow with brunson. Getting beal shortens the championship window for knicks. And beal dont play defense. He is 46m. He is 30+. And he hasnt done anything in the playoffs

    A blemish no! You shouldn't just not make a trade because your looking for a perfect player. You need to look for a player that fits what you are doing with your team! Both with contracts & how your team is made. If Donovan Mitchell was available before we made a move for Jalen Brunson, then Donovan would fit our team perfectly! Utah offered to trade him when we made our commitment! That is the only reason he is not a Knicks now! He just doesn't fit with this team as of right now. And that is what I mean by getting a player that fits your team!

    The Knicks issue is the three. Need a person 6-7 to 6'9 that is a grown man. Much rather get a Cam Johnson or Kyle Kuzman.
