Still hoping to hear him repeat “I wanna stay, money isn’t everything” post hangover. But if he doesn’t I still won’t be mad at him for choosing the bag he deserves. Nothing but love forever.

I think he will leave sadly. He said he wants to stay and when AG was next to him at the press conference and said “we can replicate this” Bruce was nodding to that, lowkey a really good sign..but I think when he sits down and sees realistically how much more he can get elsewhere I think the chances of him staying are really really slim.. 😢

Bruce is already a Nuggets legend and we will look back on him like we do Monte, Gary, Millsap etc.

If he stays? He might be my favourite Nuggets player ever. But I will hold nothing against him if he goes to get the (well deserved) bag.

I think he’ll definitely decline his option and see what the market looks like. If there isn’t a 4/55-60 offer out there, maybe he signs another 1 and 1, makes $7.5M next year and tries FA again after that.

I can see him taking 7.5 over 9-10, but probably not over 12-15. And he should really a starter somewhere. If I was Phoenix or Dallas, I’d come after him hard.

Nuggies can offer what open marker will offer him. I wonder how much his mind was reflecting on that fact that he (likely) won’t be back next year. So many emotions right there….. Thank you Brucy B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone is going to throw him a bag (deservedly so) and it would be in his best interest to take it. He did his job for us plus he’s got to look out for himself as well. Without him, we dont win this title. Will always appreciate what he did and I hope we can applaud him again even if he comes back into the arena with a different uniform.

He’s gone, and he should be. It wouldn’t be right or fair to ask him to turn down the 4/7x he’s going to get. I hope the guys tell him the same thing. Thanks for the memories, wish we had the cap space. Maybe we can trade for him in a couple of years lol. My man you are a Colorado legends playing as the 6th man for one year. Hopefully this shows the next guy that hey, if you aren’t getting offers come to Denver, you will get your numbers 100%, then you can go get paid.

I heard that if he declines and we sign him to a 1+1, then we will have his birth rights and will be able to pay him. I’m that means we get to pay him in 2024 then he might stay as it means losing around 10 mill, which is maybe a swallowable pill.

  10. Would absolutely love it if he stayed. But I can completely understand him leaving to get that bag

This is probably not what you expected but, even though i’m from Serbia, i only wanted to give you props for the Jackson Browne reference. (i think there is an older version of “Stay” but the one i know of is the Jackson Browne version)
