Let's be honest the only time Doc won was in 2008 with players (KG, Pierce, Allen, Rondo, Cassell) that really didn't even need to be coached as they already had been coached by greater coaches than him in the past.
The only difference between Harden and Doc is one is a coach and the other is a player, neither of them are willing to adapt to the game to win it all.
No excuses between them.

Yep harden has just never been a guy that is easy to win at the highest level with cause you never know how locked in he is and of course he chokes but he just doesn’t seem like a guy that’s easy to get along with and def not a guy who can lead.

All harden and the rockets had to do is not miss 26 3s,even juwt making a quarter of that , that houston team would have likely won the championship with harden leading the way . So to be fair that style could win.
Doc Rivers is not a good coach but Harden is also not a winner. Maybe Harden could win with KG, Pierce and Ray Allen as his teammates (replacing Rondo I guess), with or without Doc as a coach, but without being on the lone healthy superteam neither of these two can win anything. Doc probably won't get another HC job and the Sixers were dumb to hire him and keep him.
Harden will probably get signed by someone but won't get a max contract. He might work as a third option making $30M or less a year. But probably not with useless max contracts in the playoffs like Embiid and Tobias Harris, who do nothing when it counts either.
