Sam Vecenie’s Draft Guide came out today. Definitely called his shot by placing Cam above Brandon Miller on his Big Board. I still think Miller checks off more boxes in terms for current fit. Cam is a killer athlete that has almost no playmaking. I also question his ability to create off the dribble and his off ball defensive presence. But he’s 18. Definitely would be a sign of a rebuild completely imo if we take him @ 3.

Love Cam. Wouldn’t have minded picking him up if we’d ended up 5 or 6 or so.

When Cam gets the ball, he either shoots a 3 or tries a straight-line drive. Not much of a passer. He’s got the physical tools, but watching Nova play this year, he didn’t seem like a guy ready to put any meaningful minutes on a playoff team.
