So if harden were to come back y’all wouldn’t do this? You’d really pay maxey the max?

One season, maybe two to win a chip and then back to the Process?

Im for shaking shit up. interested in seeing how Morey cooks.

    Melton-Beal-OG-McDaniels?-Embiid is a nice lineup

The irony is the Raps could have already had Maxey, green and a first for Lowry, but said no because they wanted Tisse as well lol.

Maxey is a nice player but he is overvalued by Philly fanbase who are obsessed with underdogs. If you can move him and get back multiple impactful pieces it should definitely be considered.

I love Tyrese, but what have we learned about maxing young players that haven’t Maxxed their potential yet? It rarely works out. Pay him, a lot, but don’t set records. We didn’t even get to the ECF.

Maxey is literally the only thing left in the entire franchise that I feel positive about.

The issue is Maxeys max contract is significantly lower in cost than Beals

Yall just making shit up who says we’re paying him the max??

    Right now he’s on track @ 4 for 120

He could go out and earn a max this year if he doesn’t get extended this summer

Maxey is in the same situation as young Harden. A very good scorer on a team with stars. Compare Harden and Maxey’s first three years in the league. Okc didn’t want to pay him look how that turned out. Harden took a big scoring leap when he was 23 and got to Houston and started averaging 30+ at 27. Not saying Maxey is going to be harden but my point is he’s on a superstar path so yes I am paying him a max.

OG has a player option next season and will probably also want a near max.

Beal on a supermax is the recipe for being the Wizards part 2. We’re not winning with that team and might as well just move on from everything

That actually does appeal to me some. Wonder if you could get a better wing for Maxey but definitely would consider.

I’d consider this because of Anunoby, but goddamn if we are adding beal to embiid and harden, and getting rid of maxey and tucker, who were our only two guys with strong mental makeups… we better not ever get behind in a game, because those three mopes will just feed off each other and pack it in at the first sign of things not going their way.

I’m also very wary of losing maxey’s 3 point shooting. Its a big deal in the modern NBA to have a guy who can do that and isn’t just a specialist. Beal’s game isn’t really that suited to play with embiid and harden. He’s really been in the perfect spot as a gunner on a shitty team.

i only see the wizards oking this if beal wants to come to philly

  15. Yeah bro, if Washington decides to trade Beal, it’ll definitely be a situation where they just get Tobias Harris back lmao. Toronto isn’t giving up picks and we don’t have picks to give.
