So two days after I posted this https://www.reddit.com/r/memphisgrizzlies/comments/13w0mfb/to_the_folks_following_my_attempted_ja1_purchase/ an actual pair of shoes showed up, but they just looked off. Seemed clunky and unwieldy plus the label was in Chinese, so I decided to not cancel my new StockX order so I could compare. Well they showed up and yep I got some knockoffs. They’re close but just not quite right and I think it’s kind of hilarious. Thankfully my card refunded my fake pair so I didn’t lose any money
It looks like my captions didn’t make it though, so the bigger shoes are the fake ones

A good way I’ve noticed to determine whether a place is selling Chinese knockoffs is to look at the shoe sizes
Knockoff factories tend to not produce any shoe size past men’s size 12. Authentics will easily go past that to around size 16-17

Those are pretty good fakes!

You should where one real and one fake next time you hit the town
