What to take away from this D-Wade clip and how it relates to Mazulla

Literally everything Wade just said about Spo early on is literally how most of us fans have felt throughout the season with Mazulla.

Literally talked about how Spo didn’t know when to call timeouts, and now he’s calling them at the perfect times when a team hints at putting together a run.

Goes on to say Spo didn’t know what plays to run etc.

All of this can be said about Maz. Not saying Maz will be the next Spo, but this was definitely a learning curve season for him and yes, we probably missed the finals because of the mishaps we have in games 1 and 2, but overall he had a decent season and will only continue to get better.

Lee and Cassell will also help tremendously!

I remember a time during the Heatles run when the consensus was Doc was coaching circles around Spo lmfao

I mean that’s literally every new coach. Mazzullas brain dead ass ain’t it tho

1 more year for Mazz to prove he’s the right coach. 1 more year also that JB still has his contract before supermax kicks in. 1 more year of Brogdon & Al and they ain’t getting younger.

I say let this offseason + training camp gives us a chance to see how Mazz would do with full season. Give him a chance!

The fact that he coached the team with 1 win away from the finals, shows how impressive his run was. He learned a lot from it and hopefully with the help of his experienced assistants, C’s can win the championship next season.

Joe is trash and comparing him to a Hall of Fame level coach is silly.

We really just need to relax and see what other coaches he hires around himself. Sam and Charles are nice additions, but I don’t think they’re done yet. I won’t make any real judgement on how Joe is coaching until about 20-30ish games have been played in the regular season.

All coaches do that at the start of their careers.

All coaches do not become as good as Spoelstra.

He could improve and he’s the head coach for this coming season, but if he doesn’t, he needs to be gone and we need to hire someone that has an actual pedigree to attempt to win a title. Every single year has some excuse as to why we lose. It CAN’T be a coaching thing. Having a good coach is something the organization can control.
