Idk it seemed to me like the Heat needed more size. They didn’t have large bodies to throw at Joker, regardless it’s not easy but having a better solid big man to match up would work. Like a Brook López.
You say “Denver stayed the course” however you forget they traded for Gordon. Dame would be in a similar situation that AG is in as not the top dog on the team, but definitely able to contribute. Obviously Dame is much better than AG but you get the point, Nuggets definitely made moves to bolster their lineup.
