Sign and trade Kyrie for Beal. Beal, while also injury-prone, isn't a controversy-prone idiot and makes an impact defensively. Beal is an upgrade but neither really impact winning the way you would want a 2nd star to. Brunson impacts winning more than both of them. The dumb, overrated 'star'/'name' obsession has to stop at some point.

Trade between Nets and Mavs should happen! Bertans and 10th for 21st 22nd and DFS…. Nets in rebuild do not need DFS long contract… Bertans contract cut on half next season… Nets get some top players with 10th and Mavs 2 solid with 21st an 22nd -> win win

Not drafting Jordan Hawkins will be a big mistake. He's basically a smaller Klay. Ideal for playing with Luka, probably an instant 15 ppg guy in the right setting. He also fills the shooting void if they trade THJ (neither play defense so they cancel each other out) or even Bullock. Would instantly become the best shooter in the team
I was so annoyed that I kept seeing bojan to the mavs I was like not for the 10th pick
I think that THJ/10 for Bojan/31 is the worst trade idea for the Mavs, while invlovling the 10th pick, that I have seen in a while. It is not even a knock off on Bojan who is a good player, but
– He is rather old for Luka's timeline
– He doesn't address Mavs' biggest needs this off season: defense, rebounding & rim protection
– it will cost our best draft pick for player who is not the great fit or does not address the need
– this is way overpay for Bojan, at trade deadline rumor was Bertans&2027FRP for Bojan, how suddenly DET would want both much better pick and much better player in return
– If players like AG, Derrick White and Malcom Brogdon were traded for late first round pick. How in the hell 34yrs old Bojan would require a lottery pick to get him?
Luka + Beal >>> Luka+Kyrie. At least on the court. Beal is perfect for Luka. Not that I don't like Kyrie, quiet the opposite, but Beal is just a better fit. Also, Kyrie + KP does look nice on the paper… Would be fun to see it in action.
Mavs need young talents. They are the team with the most retirees…
This draft is full of talented players, so 2 late players would be more valuable(for this Mavs)than any 10th player> trade 10th for 2 first+/-(like 21+22th, or 16+28th,etc). Then get Olivier Maxen Prosper/Kobe Brown(23 yo, strong, plug and play, best draft sniper, all over skilled 6.7', with 7' wingspan), Tristan Vukcevic, etc,etc…
