Dunleavy and the Warriors will have a lot of tough decisions to make, undoubtably some decisions will draw heavy criticism. The new CBA just changes roster building so much. it may not be possible to give Draymond a big contract especially 4 years or so. They could trade Poole or maybe trade Klay but even so to give Green a big contract an undersized forward 33 years old would be almost impossible to do. In today's NBA you have to feature young players more because they get paid a lot less and you have to get rid of veteran big salaries a lot sooner than in the past. The year after next is when everything really kicks in. The Warriors could possibly run it back with the same team this year but that would mean not giving any big extensions and after next year you might not get hardly anything for Green.

There is no one team in the league that would pay Draymond Green over $30M to just play little defense, except Warriors perhaps due to the loyalty. That's why Bob should have been fired longtime ago, not that he's not a good exec, but he's just using the money to buy wins. Without Curry, Draymond is not even worth paying $10M in the league, and he knows it! He is slow at his age, and time will tell that how much he's worth.

Perkin is correct, it’s long overdue to let Klay go‼️ A very talented and skilled player, but really couldn’t fix his weaknesses, like shooting inconsistency, especially now his defense has declined. He has become an expensive part time offensive threat.
