The biggest change is that Brown needs to just have his right hand tied behind his back for an entire off-season. It’d also be nice if people were following him around in his peripheries randomly throwing things at him that he has to dodge or just generally be aware of.

    >“Realistically if they didn’t have Derrick White in that last series, they would have lost 4-0.”

    True.

Not surprised teams are rooting for the Celtics to break up the jays… because It’s an absolute panic move and ludacris how many fans think that’s the answer for a team one game away from back to back finals appearances. Majority of this sub is acting like we need some giant change as if we didn’t even make the playoffs or something

I would absolutely, 100%, do a trade to move JB for a player and a top 5 pick at this time. Love JB and what he’s done but at this time I feel like this team needs a young kid that can split time with Al* at the 4 and grow someone like Whitmore or Walker or go after Black and see if he can play and run an offense with Smart or White on the court with him at the same time.

A lot of this also has to do with how bad the new cba is for teams who drafted and developed their guys correctly but will be tough keep two guys on super max extensions/deals.

If I’m Brad in dangling Joe for a second rounder

I guarantee you if Tatum and Brown and Joe watched the Finals they took nothing from it. They didn’t pay attention to how Jokic and Murray played off each other. They’re stuck in their ways and they refuse to change.

“As soon as a team gets knocked out of the playoffs — or doesn’t even make the playoffs — you start hearing about all the changes they need to make,” the coach told Heavy Sports. “Right now, there’s a whole lot of GMs and people with my job that would LOVE to see Boston make a bunch of changes. I mean, are there fans up there actually saying they should break up Brown and Tatum? Are you s***ting me?

“Sure, you always hope you can tweak things here or there to try to get better, but right now just about every team in the league would trade its roster for Boston’s straight up”

Two good players without any dog in them. Dukesoft and pampered.

I don’t know how you instill that.

Turn 2 of White/Brogdon/Smart into another decent big man and we got something.

Everyone talking about Jaylen’s handles, all I want is the Jays to pass to each other. It was always in the back of my mind how the Jays rarely ever pass to each other, much less give each other assists, but it’s easy to ignore when they combine for 72 points and the league calls them the best duo since Kobe/Shaq. Now the league and media are finally starting to talk about it. I doubt either will reach Lebron’s level of point forward, but I wish they could be just a little like the Lebron/Wade combo.

Do whatever we have to for DW to get more minutes, we wouldn’t have gone down 3 games if DW wasn’t playing <30 minutes a game. Legit could have won the series if we played our 2nd best player more

Takes a few years of running it back before you win it all
