Warriors should go for Brook Lopez, Kristaps Porzingis, or Nic Claxton for interior size + defense.
Kelly Olynyk and Pascal Siakam are also good options alongside one of the above.
Beal’s contract is very expensive considering he’s not a top 10 player yet he’s being paid more than most of them.
Also, I still believe Klay > Beal. 23 pts per game as basically the 1st option on a 35 Win Wizards team vs 22 pts per game as the 2nd option while also being a better shooter and better defender.
I would much rather trade for Porzingis who for 10M less provides interior size, defense, shooting, lob threat, interior scoring, and good rebounding to guard the likes of Lebron, AD, Jokic, Giannis, Embiid. Imagine the defense of GP2, Klay, Wiggins, Draymond, Porzingis while Curry is resting and the offense while he plays. FINALLY having a SCORING BIG and the fact he shoots well to top it off. Imagine the pick and roll game between him and Curry… LETHAL!
Besides, trading Porzingis for Poole + picks and/or other young players sounds like great return for the Wizards who should build around young players since they aren't winning any time soon.
