The warriors,celtics,spurs,heat and nuggets have all used both free agency and the draft to build elite franchises that could contend for years. This is why it makes no sense to me that we almost completely ignore it. Especially when you factor in our "copycat mentality" regarding trying to build teams like the former dynasties ( spurs and warriors) . This team really needs to forge its own identity. High pressure trapping defense that fuels our fastbreak offense should be the goal. Similar to the old Seattle supersonics. Then again we might just copy the old Houston rockets assuming that ayton stays and develops under coach vogel. Having him post-up inside and kick out to the slashers and shooters. Having said that, Guys I'd target or try to aquire from the draft – Anthony black,Cason wallace,amen thompson if we make an impact trade. James najji, Jordan walsh or Andre jackson. For free agent pointguards to take a gamble on Dennis Smith jr.,Jared butler or miles mcbride.
