We shouldn't give up assets just to move up in the draft. We should play the hand we were dealt by drafting prospects with the most potential with out three picks. It's more than likely they're going to need time to be developed. The guards we need to ramp up PT are Dru Smith, DDJ and Cam Thomas. Let's give the new coaching staff an opportunity to work with the roster before trades are made. We have to know the potential of what we have now before adding or subtracting from the roster. It the sensible or practical thing to do.
It's incorrect to interpret JV not playing Cam Thomas much as not liking him. Cam's play wasn't advanced enough to fit in with a veteran roster. He'll get his chance next season if he stay ready. JV just got his coaching staff in place. Patience is needed.
Gee, you are on two different channels. Yes, get rid of CamThomas and watch him blossom somewhere else. But what do I know, I thought the Nets should of kept Mookie Blaylock. Being a long time Nets fan, I am used to poor decisions. Your depth of knowledge about the young 18 year olds definitely beats….These kids are too young to project down the line. Cam Thomas misspoke. His role model was Kyrie Irving, who is a mess of a human being. I hope Cam Thomas is spending his off season with the twins and other responsible adults. Cam Thomas was double teamed and still scored forty points. Can Joe Harris score 40? Can DFSmith score forty points? Sorry 4 putting comments in wrong place. Spending more time on NBA than average to avoid politics.
