⚫Clippers summer league team coached by assistant Dahntay Jones could have 2021 2nd round picks Brandon Boston Jr. and Jason Preston, along with incumbent 2-way contracts Moussa Diabaté, Xavier Moon; those four have been in team’s practice facility on regular basis this offseason
⚫Boston (June 30) and Preston (July 7) have contract guarantee dates that could be affected by what happens on draft day.
⚫2021 is a reminder of how you have to prepare for anything, RE: Clippers draft. They moved up in the first round and added multiple second round picks on draft night. 2022 showed that the Clippers are capable of staying pat and using their pick. (He mentioned in clippers podcast that there is possibility clippers could trade up)
⚫I expect the Clippers to be motivated to find athletic size upgrades, and not just via the draft. They’ll be active for the rest of the month in trade market. They kind of have to be since they’re interested in retaining their free agents while simultaneously needing to refresh
⚫I had an Ivica Zubac stat that you won’t find anywhere else, but here’s a T Mann one. He led LAC with most games without an offensive rebound (41), but he was also one of only 3 non-Zu Clippers with games of 4+ offensive rebounds. T Mann, Russ, Moses each had 4 of those games.
⚫I included a prelim depth chart in today’s story. Still wild how you can look at LAC roster and see guys like Covington, Hyland, Coffey as 3rd stringers. There is a such thing as “too much depth” especially if you are trying to add to a developmental corps. Something to consider
Some thoughts that were left on the cutting room floor, RE: draft and/or Clippers and/or summer league:

Tobias/Collins and Toppin would be an ideal offseason
His latest guest appearance on the Clips n Dip pod was great. Really enjoyed his insight and it’s clear that he is very tapped in with the organization.
It has me re thinking a lot of my opinions and expectations with this off-season.
I went deeper into his tweets and this unrelated but why the hell are they taking bets on the Special Olympics?
Anywho I hope the youngins aren’t putting in work in vain and they moving the oldies to give them space to play. Denver played a rookie in the finals, these kids we been putting in the g league should be playing.
