[Baraheni] An interesting note on here is that the number execs are hearing for FVV is exceeding 3/$90M — but the fact that a 3-year deal was mentioned is interesting to me.

Please leave Fred.
he should have taken the 114/4 extension last season
If we’re gonna run offense around Barnes, some of these guys gotta get the fuck outta here
In Darko system the ball has to keep moving I think Fred could excel in this situation as he may end up being a more spot up shootee
Mr. Bet On Yourself at it again.

It’s interesting, the term
Not at all surprised. With the new CBA you can handle overpaying on term or per-year amount, but not both. Orlando is a perfect example. They’ll have both Franz and Suggs up for a contract extensions in 2 years. Isaac that year as well if they keep him. WCJ and Paolo the next year. Taking a four year term on a FVV contract is tough for them. If they really want him, better to overpay on 3 years than 4.
its because they know… dude should have taken the 114 deal he was offered
Advanced stats have Fred as an incredibly impactful player, not least because he plays so many minutes each season. I appreciate that he can underwhelm sometimes, especially when his shot isn’t falling, but I don’t see it as an accident that Fred’s rating on 538’s RAPTOR is comparable to Lowry’s in the championship season. Lowry was also paid more then than Fred is paid now — by a fair margin too.
There will be a team that beats that offer that’s all ima say, unless the smoke around all the interest for him is cap but I do think Orlando for example will offer him a ton of money, they have had interest for him for a while
let fred walk and resign trent and poetl and then trade siakam for simons, scoot and little
