LaMelo Ball needs some help and Zion Williamson is available for a trade, the new orleans pelicans appear to be done with the former #1 pick, and are hoping to trade for the #2 pick to draft Scoot Henderson, if the Hornets decide to trade the #2 pick to the Pelicans, Zion Williamson will most likely be included in that deal, which would result in a Zion and LaMelo duo in Charlotte next season!

i was all for drafting scoot, but have actually changed my mind on this and here is why.
if you resign melo you will have him for the next 6 season. you will have Zion for 5 and likely bridges for 4-5. that gives you 2 all stars and a boarder line all star. if Mark Williams can be the centre you need him to be the could be the Memphis of the East.
the real thing that swung me is this. if this works vets will want to come to the hornets to ring chase. if you just draft Scoot or Miller even if they pan out it's gonna take years before players would want to go there and by that point melo would be at the end of a 2nd deal.
I say you do it and you live with the consequences. if Zion is broken, hey, you took a swing at being great rather then just being good

Zion cant suit up, why would they do this? Zion misses too many games and Melo has struggled as well. Melo needs a legitimate running mate. I gave Zion 5 seasons in the league because of his weight and his health issues and well… here we are. I just don't see it but when it comes to the Hornets it wouldn't surprise me.
