Doubt we can afford him, but thereās no better TPMLE target than draymond. Instantly solves both of our ball handling issues, loves to play in pace with sharpe and Jerami who are elite in transition, and fixes our defense.
Our defense has suffered for more reasons than just talent. We donāt communicate and we arenāt naturally good at rotating/knowing where to be. That is arguably Draymondās best skill and heād instantly become to our defense, what dame is to our offense.
Edit: we have the bigger NONtax payer MLE, not the regular MLE. My bad
Yep if we can afford him itāll be a no brainer. Doubt we can though. I hate him as a Warrior but I would love him as a Blazer
I donāt know the Lakersā cap situation but Iām sure if thereās a way for him to go there and play with Bron – assuming he doesnāt re-sign with the Warriors – he will. Would be a great pickup for the Blazers though.
If we trade Simons to a team with cap space in a trade we could get far below the cap. Then we can sign Draymond and Grant. Acquiring draft picks for Ant isnt the worst thing. Then send those draft picks with a trade exception to get another wing? I am no cap expert, but this seems like the only way correct?
Would you rather retain Grant or get Draymond instead?
Would have to be a sign and trade
S/T Draymond to Lakers for S/T Reaves gonna be a rumour now, isnāt it š
