The LA Clippers offseason has officially begun and the rumors are already in full force. On Friday, several were mentioned by NBA media members Chris Haynes & Zach Lowe.
Haynes reported that Ty Lue will not be getting an extension with the Los Angeles Clippers and will coach out his contract. He officially becomes a Free Agent after the 2024-25 season but there is a team option after this upcoming season, meaning he can become one as soon as next Summer.
Lowe reported that the Clippers will definitely be trading 2 of Norm Powell, Marcus Morris, Nico Batum, and Robert Covington for one better player.

Based on what you reported, I'm more team Frank. Especially supporting Terrence Mann. Anyone with a brain knows Morris got waaaaay too many minutes and Covington got screwed. I like Lue but I would've fired him for that sh*t.

This is probably the end of the 213 era. I’d say get rid of the stars to Charlotte and try to pry jaylen brown.
If clippers make the finals, lue will get a new fat contract. If not, he will get the boot 🥾
Also regarding KAT, he's a quirky dude….but I swear I really believe with his ability he could be the best player in the league…if he applied himself! I think the money made him softer.
