Honestly, kinda lost respect for the Players Association. Like, this makes them look like a bunch of immature spoiled brats who don’t understand the concept of consequences. Even if it was a “toy gun”, it was bad look for the league and hurt the overall reputation of the league that they work in. It’s not illegal but it damaged the image of the league. Any normal individual do this kinda shit and they would be fired and out of a job.
I don’t even agree with the suspension. It was 25 games, but it was light and soft. Should have at least gotten half the season. It’s the only way Ja and other players will learn that they are role models/face of the NBA whether they like it or not. They can’t just do what they please and not expect consequences if they do something that hurts the league. Very disppointing to see. SMH….
Edit: For additional comment, I’ve been hearing a lot on how it’s find given that Bridges got 30 days beating his wife which is an actual crime. I agree that it should be less than Bridges given that it was an actual crime but I argue that Bridges should have been much much longer! He should have been suspended for at least 50-70 games.

The suspension could’ve been 10 games and they would’ve been unhappy with it.
Honestly I expected the suspension to be a lot longer. He lost millions in salary, won’t qualify for All-NBA or All-Star bonus’s and the Grizzlies will likely finish as a play-in team next season. This is Adam Silver’s way of telling Ja to drop his hood rat friends and antics.
