7 + Hield is the framework of a trade. It’s not awful but would want maybe another piece.

Toronto making big moves to get the Thompson twins.

    Siakam to Portland for #3

    OG to Indiana for #7

Add in whatever fillers and draft picks make the trades work

EDIT: I am just having a bit of fun wanting the Thompson twins to play together. I don’t think the Raptors will or should actually make the trade.

Indiana’s problem is that they have FIVE picks in this draft and four of them are bad – 7,26,29,32 and one in the 50’s. Every front office knows they’re desperate to consolidate those picks as they can’t feasibly roster five rookies. Previously they were trying to hold on to 7 but it seems like they’ve realized they need to include it to get off those other picks.

I’m not a fan of an OG trade that involves that package of picks as we’ll just have the same problem they do – you can’t have that many rookies at once.

Black should be available at 7 still correct?

If we get 7 + hield + stuff for OG I am drafting Bufkin at 7 and then targeting a shooter at 13, probably dick, keyonte or Hawkins, maybe even whitehead.

Starting line up next year of Bufkin, hield, Scottie, pascal, jak, is probably worse than last year, but has much more long term upside with Kobe, Scottie and 13.

This is the worst constructed tweet. I mean, this tweet is poorly constructed. I think this tweet could’ve been constructed better, if the author was motivated enough

I would not be opposed to this. 3/5 of the current starting lineup came from the 2016 draft. Load up on prospects in a deep draft like this year and then pass on next year to even it out, like Utah is doing too. I think if we got 7 they would use it on Bilal though.

Do they want someone who is 6’9 and can’t shoot?!?!?! Time to make a deal boys!

High-level wing player? How about Thad Young? 😉

IF we get 7 i would prefer to get Ausar as a hyper athletic wing and then 13 go with whoevers left of kobe/keyonte and call it a day.

Why do people want to trade OG? He’s young, a great player and fits well with Scottie.

I do think that Indy would make a ton of sense as a trade partner for OG. There are some really good prospects available at 7.

If you can get #7 and Andrew Nembhard back in a deal, then I think you seriously consider it.

  13. LastNightsHangover

7, Andrew and TJ McConnell for OG does interest me.

I just don’t *want* to trade OG.

It does basically fill the void Fred leaves in FA ,if they know he’s gone, with a vet holdover and younger prospect.

Not the best package, not the worst.

If we didn’t do it for 7 last year in a really good draft, why would we do it now? Everybody seems to want shaedon sharpe all of a sudden after not wanting him last year

I feel as though any trade that happens will happen on draft day, last minute, and it would be based on who’s available…even if it’s a Portland trade I think Masai pulls the trigger last minute while Portland is on the clock, and it depends heavily on who they value more, Scoot or Miller….unless of course, they like both of them in which case they might make a trade beforehand.

The same thing goes with every other lottery pick, If Masai sees someone who he likes then he may pick up the phone but otherwise, the 7th pick doesn’t hold a lot of value because it’s too unpredictable…in theory they could draft whoever they want but if that player gets drafted at 5 or 6 then the pick isn’t as valuable to a team.

It’s 3rd pick or nothing. 7th won’t move the needle especially if we give up OG for it. Elite wing defender that can shoot for a player thats 2-3 years away all while Pascal gets older.

  17. Dareal6

Not that I’m advocating for it, but OG to Indiana would be a “homecoming” as he went to college there. I’d have to imagine that he’s on the Pacers’ radar.

  18. squidbilleh

I want Hali but no way we’re getting him. How about Nembhard???

  19. Rapsfan_98

Ima need 7, Nembhard and one other intriguing piece for OG
