@cyro asseo i see like 5 percent chance or less siakam is dealt unless masai gets a kings ransom. as if they trade siakam they are basically bottoming out the team, with scottie barnes and og anunoby as your number 1 and 2 options. i can see og traded to get a guard as og is ufa next year and can get up to 35 to 43 million a year under new cba of 40 percent of team salary. have to see, if gary and fred are gone though, og may stay because 2 had to go. they still need a shooting guard though, maybe gary trent jr for jordan clarkson and 16th pick from utah in sign and trade? other than that sign terrence ross off free agent market i guess.

We're finally almost back to where we were pre bubble with a starting center, our depth potential is insane with otto porter returning, gabe Brown making the team, weiskap, dowtin starting, gary, OG and the 13th pick all complimentary pieces to surround siakam with.
So the Raptors dont want to rebuild or retool because of Miami going to the finals pretty much

I don't want Scottie at point all the time. If he could shoot, it'd be a different story.
Watch how good this team is without Nurse and Fred. Those two were mostly responsible for our poor chemistry and selfish basketball. The team is going to be top 3 next season with Darko ball if they donât rebuild. Itâs Masai so you never know whatâs up his sleeve. He could end up with the #3 and #4 pick in this draft or he can run it back with Fred and Nick.
I knew they were not rebuilding but if they do, trust Masai with it. You donât get a new coach and not try a different system on most of the core especially high producers. They will probably retool and make 1 trade maybe 2. They are not tearing it down. They are already one of the youngest teams in the league. The average starter is 25 years old. I also donât buy fred and gary leaving. Opting out of a last year contract is pretty standard as players are looking for longer terms.
Also I hope Scottie embraces a point forward position. He doesnât have the handle or shot to be a full time guard right now but also his strengths are in the paint. Joker is a point centre⊠Scottie can use his vision from any position. Being a Pg is just semantics.
Can we get this straight Scottie IS NOT A POINT GUARD. He is a point forward!
