Worst 3 point shooter in the league, a pilon on perimeter defense, limited court vision, no ability to attack the rim, huge ego, plays hero ball, and is toxic in the locker room.

I’m not buying this whole “sign Fred because you can always trade him later since so many teams want him” argument. The new cap is going to be extremely punitive when breaching that second apron, which will squeeze most mid level salaries . I’m not giving anyone 30M+AAV unless they’re a rock solid #2 on a championship contender, otherwise it’s a big overpay . Im not sure I want to give OG 30m so I know I defdinitely wouldn’t give it to FVV
There is literally no asset or combination of assets on the hawks that would make a pascal trade worthwhile (unless you’re talking something super nebulous like 3 unprotected frp)
If we try to run it back with everyone and let Gary walk they are in salary hell. They need to trade FVV or PS for less long term $ younger assets. It is a hard decision but must be done or you will have these two with young players around them and that is a 12 seed.
No, no,no ! If you have been watching the team he stalls the offensive , we need to move off of him ! He is too small , we need some height in that PG position for vision into the front court for ball movement . The Raptor's ball movement has always been an issue. If he was the source of discord in the locker room with his ego then that 's another reason to sign and trade him .
O.G. is deserving of an opportunity but ! The concern I have is his history of injuries because of how he plays the game .

I disagree. OG has a lot of offense in his game but from what I watched this season, he struggles when Pascal is on the court because Pascal stops the ball and does ISO. I think if we trade Pascal for some younger guys to pair with Scottie and OG – we'd have a offense where moving the ball for the best shot is prioritized.
Bro was almost the worst player in the entire league. That isn’t projecting upwards. We don’t want egos on the team, as stated by the organization. VanBrick is only and all about the business. Mix the ego with that, and that equals a problem in the locker room, like was reported with Scottie and him. Fred is NOT a leader. We don’t have one. Our leader was Kyle, and although Fred wants to think he’s Kyle, he ain’t. I’m SO ready to get past VanBrick. Can’t even get out of a double team with taller guards, which is where the league is going: taller, in every position. He ain’t guarding anyone.
Raptors fans were unwilling to part ways with Fred and Pascal prior to the deadline…unwilling to commit to Scottie as our focal point. Now every other comment about the team is slanderous. We're becoming a toxic fanbase, akin to the 76ers. Fred has his shortcomings, no pun intended, but he has been a positive player for the Raptors every season.

If there were issues in the locker room due to Fred, then is that really a positive contribution to the culture? It doesn't make sense to keep Fred but potentially trade Pascal and OG who have been positive impact players on the team.
Are you telling me the Raps are willing to operate as an over the cap team? Strange if they do that because This team may not need a huge shake up but it needs something for sure. Fred is not worth 30 mil.. we need to sign and trade him if we can't get him for 25 mil a year. 3 yrs@ 75 sounds fair for Fred.
If Fred wanted one more year, he should of opted in.. In no way can you pay Fred anything close to 30M per without anger from the fans, for what he and NN put us through.
