Developing: Washington is in serious talks with two finalists – Miami and Phoenix – on a Bradley Beal trade, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The Suns have emerged as a serious threat for Beal, who holds a no-trade clause.

Didn’t see anyone post it first so I thought I would start a discussion. I am absolutely relieved. He’s another injury prone guy we don’t need. I am much more intrigued by Simons from Portland if we do decide to make a move and not run it back.

They must’ve wanted thanasty
Yup, I agree and if Khris is 100% healthy again, he’s a better fit for us. As for Jrue, I understand why people are so down on him but he’s still one of the top defenders in the league and we have no backup options for lead ball handler so trading him for Beal never really made much sense to begin with (yeah, I love Jevon too but he’s not a starting 1). Plus, Jrue’s probably our most durable starter now aside from post-back surgery cyborg Brook.
OP – Simons would be very intriguing as a microwave scorer playing next to Jrue but personally, I’d rather see us go for more size.
Here’s to hoping Jrue suddenly becomes a better playoff shooter and decision maker in his age 33 season…
Jut get cp3 and move jrue to sg
THANK GOD!
