I’m probably in the minority when it comes to Beal. I’d rather have Beal on the team than Harden. I don’t think he’d be the new Tobias …he’s significantly better than Harris. But I recognize simply replacing Harden with Beal doesn’t do anything for this team. In an ideal world, they swap Tobias + some stuff for Beal, and then maybe sign-and-trade Harden to a team for 1-2 high-level role players. I highly doubt Beal is going to roll over and die in the playoffs.

Bucks fan here r/nba refugee. Thank god Bucks fell out of this conversation. Beal’s contract will be an anchor around the FO’s neck for whoever gets him. He’s a great ball player but he’s getting paid like a top 10 NBA player when he’s at best top 30.
While I think Beal – Maxey – Embiid would be a lot of fun to watch, and might actually be good… I’m glad it’s likely not us getting him.

This has to be Herro and Robinson vs Ayton and Shamet. I don’t see how the Suns can compete as they don’t have a first round pick to include. If the Heat are offering Herro, Robinson and a first, I don’t see how they don’t get this trade done.
