Mannix dug a hole with his derogatory comments about the Nuggets that he can't take back or get out of. He didn't just use historical facts to try to persuade us that the Nuggets shouldn't be favored in these playoffs, he derided and slandered the Nuggets by saying they were boring and uninteresting. In my mind, Mannix simply revealed himself as a typical lazy sports journalist.
So the bar is to beat '17 Warriors to have a great run.

So if Lakers series went 7, or competitive 6 games, and Heat series were better than gentlemen sweep, then this run could be validated as an all time great… This is all time great run because Nuggets gentlemen swept the playoffs with phenomenal performances by their 2 star players. And as a Nugget fan I would most rather have a 16- 0 run than a 16-12 one…The funniest thing all you that picked Lakers to win the series, now declare the Lakers as mid table team that is in the WCF because it was fluke or something. Nuggets took care of business in a dominant fashion, and you all are just salty that you were so wrong…

Then he picked the Lakers to beat the nuggets because they got lebron and Anthony Davis, the Lakers loss to the nuggets now he says that wasn't 2013 lebron, well it wasn't 2013 lebron when you said the Lakers would beat the nuggets and win the championship!
