I really think trading Malik + #17 for DFS + #22 is the play. Watch how DFS knows how to play his role; he would be perfect next to Bron.

That would be great in theory.. but in reality I don’t know why the Nets would do that; and I believe DFS would shoot 32% here

  2. Vexing_Pie

Would rather have Royce. DFS is streaky, he shot 30% for Brooklyn. In turn we trade Bamba and waive Malik so we can sign a center with the MLE

  3. Getting 22 back would make this work for me.

They’re not trading DFS to just move up five spots.

I would like deandre Ayton too. Know he’s soft now but he can lock Jokic if he reverts.

People seem to forget that both teams must agree to the trade, this ain’t 2K trade finder

  7. Trillman04

His shooting fell off in Brooklyn, with our shooting tax he’s not shooting over 20% from 3

I’m not sure nets would want to do that tbh

Most people in NBA media and likely the Nets too consider Finney-Smith as better than O’Neale

I think to move up 5 the Lakers could squeeze O’Neale but I wouldn’t hold my breath on DFS.

Goes without saying, I’d smash accept the DFS deal. The O’Neale deal I would sit and due some more looking around first, but I’m not against it.

Lakers seem to keep the pick. No impact players worth trading. Gotta save cap space for AR, Rui, possibly sign and trade DLo.

All of a sudden Beasley has trade value now?

A starting/closing lineup of AR15, DFS, LeBron, Rui, AD would be nasty

This or O’neal would be my ideal trade if the Lakers are moving the pick for a vet. Gets a starter at a position of need and would allow us to take a big swing at 22 on someone like Nick Smith Jr or GG Jackson. Take a risk on a player with star ceiling for the post Lebron years rather than trying to get someone who would help now. By that point in this draft you’re mainly looking at high floor or high ceiling players but there’s not likely to be any players left with both.

No way they give us the 22nd pick. If we get DFS, it’s going to be him for the 17th pick and for them to take on a bad player (Beasley).

  15. MediumShotBob

Trades require cooperation from the other team

  16. We gotta start thinking after Lebron can’t keep trading picks

  17. Royal-Mongoose9015

Y’all can’t afford DFS, especially if you’re gonna give a 13ppg, no rebounding, no defense, no playmaking player like Austin Reaves a max contract.

  18. LifeLongLakersFan

With our scouting/drafting, I wouldn’t want to trade down until we know what’s available at 17.

  19. Worse defender than Vando and Worse shooter than Rui. Lol why would we need him

  20. Tdg_Jglo99

He’s one of them players that forget how to shoot when they play with lebron

  21. ChillClinton904

Y’all are overrating DFS dawg. Vando is literally the same player
