Well, he should be available at $15/M/YR x 2 yrs. Who said that CP3 will not take that offer from the Spurs. Denver will not pay him, they are set. That leaves Miami and that's not going to happen, they are set. Philly? Possibly if Harden leaves. LA Lakers? Nope, they are needing a younger faster guard. Boston? Nope. They are good. So really, what choices does CP3 have? At least with SAS he could possibly be on a championship team on his 2nd year, if the Spurs make certain other moves. Laugh if you want, but it's possible. Right now, the league is wide open. Anything can happen. I believe the Spurs could win a championship next year and CP3 would be an excellent pick up.

I really hope the spurs dont start getting impatient and make dumb decisions just for a "win now" excuse. In case yall havent noticed, this model rarely ends up working out. You can't cut corners to success. Overpaying for players like that would be a huge mistake, but right now I still trust the front office.
I was against trading everyone to go young but now that we have, I want us to stay young.
FVF is like 6 foot tall, barely puts pressure on the rim, overrated as a shooter, shitty defense, no defensive versatility, and was such a little kiss ass to Kawhi he’d shit on a coach and franchise out of left field just to suck up to another man. Yeah that’s a hard pass for me…….a lot of other guards I’d rather go after via the next 2 years of free agency, trades, or additional draft picks. No thanks on him. I’d be cool with 2 years of cp3 and tre while we figure it out though.
