I would love to hear fans arguments as to why we should let him go. He’s easily the Warriors 2nd most important player despite his antics.

You let him go because he was a cancer to this team beyond the big 3 and effectively killed the culture the warriors built. You let him go because he no longer maximizes the offense that made him special, you let him go because he knocked out his teammate, you let him go because he’s a declining veteran that wants a top contract. You let him go because he doesn’t listen to coaches and officials, you let him go because he doesn’t actually hold himself accountable for his own actions. Despite what others think I don’t believe we need him to win another championship. There’s just too many reasons to look beyond him at this point 🤷🏿♂️

The moment draymond leaves is the moment the warriors window closes. There’s no defender who can do what draymond. He’s the warriors second best player

Letting him go would be insane

Keep.
2nd most important player. QB on offense, MLB/FS on defense.
Bring him back on 20-25M per year for 3-4 years.

Depreciating asset. Depends on how much he wants. Yes, he is the 2nd most important player on the Warriors, but no longer elite to make up for his short comings.

He already has a player’s option to come back for another year at a salary higher than the options mentioned below. Why would he opt out and then come back for less?

Keep (if u can make the roster good enough to contend by moving/adding other pieces)
Let him go (if team cannot/will not offer him a contract he can get for sure in the market)

Love the guy. Brings something that is (almost) impossible to replace. But I feel answer to this question depends on so many things. I want to see this team contend next year no matter what, would definitely feel great if we can contend with him but wouldn’t moan about it if we can contend without him. Please please don’t play the same way they played this year.
