This day in Lakers history: June 17, 2010 – With Kobe struggling with his shot, the combined grittiness of Gasol and Artest helps lead a Game 7 win over the Celtics to earn back-to-back championships
No slight to the Mamba but going back to these games I forgot how much Kobe pissed me off this series. The difficulty of the shots he was taking was borderline indefensible. I’m talking triple teamed fadeaway 20 footers with 10 left on the shot clock. I know he was a tough shot maker and all but that was some selfish shit that could’ve straight up handed number 18 to the Leltics on a silver platter.
