Even if the gun was fake, there have been too many instances of violence involving him. Instances that due to Ja’s popularity with young people, the team and league can’t overlook.

My guess is Ja has never been held accountable for any mistakes that he’s made in life by those closest to him. He also has probably never held himself accountable for any irresponsible acts that he’s been involved in. At some point he has to look at himself in the mirror and man up and start making some grown man decisions in his life. It’s never going to come from those closest to him, because they’re all afraid to get cut off from the meal ticket. His teammates also need to stop writing this shit off and hold him accountable for his actions. If I was Memphis I’d take it one step further than the NBA did and I’d keep him away from the team for longer than the 25 game suspension until he can prove that he’s actually learned his lesson.
