Choosing Wiseman or Bagley over Stew is such a loser franchise idea. I hope not. Stew may end up off bench but he's versatile and you need lots of bigs. Terrible idea
If Stew keeps hitting 3s, he will get minutes at PF and small ball center. He is a blue collar physical guy with a great attitude and work ethic. There will be a slot for him somewhere on this Pistons squad. He reminds me of Corliss Williamson, "Big Nasty". Go out and play 12 minutes, knock down three players, grab 5 rebounds, score 6 points, dish out 3 welts and 1 bloody nose and get in 2 shoving matches. All in a day's work. You play against guys like that and after the game you feel like you have been in a car accident. "Detroit Basketball"! Used to love watching opposing guards try to chase Isiah, Joe and Vinnie around the key and bounce off Laimbeer, Mahorn and Edwards like a pin ball machine. Stew sets some solid freakin picks.
Duhh this is what we do with our home grown talent. Y’all didn’t just see Bruce brown and mvp win a chip? Problem ain’t the players it’s us
I still don’t understand the wisemen trade. He brings us nothing
I thought you were gonna discuss the proposed ESPN three-team trade that sent us Zion and Beef Stew ends up in N.O. with the #2 pick from Charlotte. I don't care how much you love Stewart, there's NO WAY Troy turns down that offer as unlikely as it would be lol…
Yeah he’s a guy who every team needs. Don’t trade him
Can you talk about size but Stewart is small. Bagley is 6:11?
I think the Pistons understand that his ceiling isn’t that much higher than his current skillset. At best he’s a fourth option on any other team. I love Stew I hope they keep him but I know now is probably the right time to trade him.
Just trade the whole team for some high school kids- ofcourse they will not be NBA ready for atleast 25 years. Until they are ready which will be never- sign all the retired Pistons to a 2 year contract that actually played the game of basketball: Defense/offense and maybe that would be alittle more exciting than what you see today with the current team of score 110 and lose by 20 points!!!!
Stew will be there for a while. this is the last year Troy can have a glut of bigs. One of the others will be moved in the next few months.
Isaiah Stewart is a poor man’s Andre Drummond, who was a poor man’s Ben, who was a poor man’s Rodman…. Basically Isaiah Stewart is a stat hog for a bad team. His value in trade is higher than value on field.
Stew going to have a breakout season piston bet not trade him
Rather trade Bagley and Killian before Stew unless we get a top 10 pick or two late first for him this year
