This was expected given how much he can make on the open market. Thankfully we got GP2 back which definitely mitigates the loss.

Not surprising – this is partially why they traded for GP2 last year
DrumzRUs
It is what it is
Arcacube
Big loss, but not a surprising one. I was hoping his sub-par performance at the end of the season and early in the playoff fooled other teams into thinking he wasn’t that valuable…
Looks like these guys know ball
ElCoyoteBlanco
Well, no fucking shit. We all knew this well in advance. Glad he made good and will always root for him wherever he ends up as long as it’s not with the fucking Lakers.
youriko31
This was expected.
I’m hoping for the best for him.
ElectricalStory1382
Well duh

Serious question, do y’all think GPII would go back to #0?
couchtomato62
And water is wet
Ube_Ape
Hopefully he goes East.
AdUseful6473
Liked him, but playoff time he was nowhere to be found. Wish him well.
SquatOnAPitbull
Sorry to see, but expected. I really hope he somehow winds up on the Knicks with Hart and Brunson
Nessmuk58
Duh.
1-year + PO is lose-lose. If the guys does well, he’s gone, if he doesn’t he takes the PO and we’re stuck with him for another year. One-and-done is better.
DDV did way too well to stay at his PO salary, and we have no way to offer him what he’ll get on the open market.

Ngl this doesn’t bother me in the slightest.. he had his moments in the regular season and was a great role player during that time BUT
Guy was a complete playoff bust and it’s not an isolated incident as it appears to be a pattern with him
NlilNJA
Get Seth Curry

Well, no shit! I really need to find a job as a NBA insider if this is breaking news… Whats next to report? Sky is blue, Trump is going to commit a felony?
mandoman10
Unusable in the playoffs. Couldn’t guard or switch. Got benched for a reason.
Thrillawill
And nothing of value will be lost. Cant remember a thing this guy did in the playoffs.
He can go.
Shamanboi408
atleast we got gp2 back lol
MechaShoujo02
The few times him and GP2 played together is was beautiful. Just the best defense chemistry they had. Gonna miss him but he was a no show in the play offs sadly.
Soggy_Claim1686
Loved him but to many guards. Luckily gp2 is here
SharkSymphony
Let’s take a moment to celebrate the number of free agents over the past several years who have come out of their time with the Dubs looking like a million bucks. Congrats in advance to DDV for being the latest success story!
This_Cable_5849
This was obvious and never a question that it was going to happen. He signed with the warriors with the full intention of playing well and signing a big contract. He can realistically make well over double what he was gonna make on the warriors.
Good for him. I see a 4 year 50 million dollar type contract in his future

Sucks he was amazing 🥲
At least 0 GP2 is coming back 🥲
Sorry he sucked ass in the playoffs.
Don’t want players that shrink under pressure.
Good riddance.
