OP – one thing you should know, all values of players aside, is that no fan on this subreddit will play any trade in which Kyle Lowry is the main piece coming our way. He’s pretty hated around here.

So we’re reading our 6th pick for one outside the lottery, giving up Dell who’s a starting level big on a steal of a contract, Gary who’s one of the better 3&D wings in the league, and giving up on JI (who we could just cut to save salary instead of trade) for Simons whom I like but isn’t really in our wheelhouse and one of the most hated players by our fanbase…
Say what you want about fanbases overrating their own players and assets, but this is an AWFUL deal for us lol

Heat give up Victor Oladipo whose career is over, Duncan Robinson a severely overpaid reserve who did not crack the rotation 75% of the season, and Kyle Lowry who will be waived before he plays a single game in Orlando, and 3 likely worthless picks for a superstar.
Meanwhile the Magic give up 3 starting caliber players on some of the team friendliest contracts in the league AND the 6th overall draft pick for a dude who’ll probably peak as a Jordan Clarkson/Poole-esque role player on a contending team. Why would we give up more for less?

Even if you included #3 we’d say no.
You have no idea how good WCJ is especially compared to his contract. Dude’s contract is front loaded, and starting for us in 2 years @10m/ gives us crazy cap flexibility.
