As a Heat fan which wanted that trade to tip in our favor, I could tell you that Beal will get you over the hump. You definitely have a super team right now. I am surprised that you pulled off that trade of lead for gold. I think Beal mentioned the Heat with no intention to join us just to get a competition going to pad his contract. He really didn't want to play for us. Congrats to the Suns, you deserve that trade.

I'm sorry but even with Beal the Nuggets are just a superior team. They're still better offensively, are tremendously better defensively, have solid role players and some depth, and the desire to help their teammates to win that most modern NBA players lack

Really not sure how this fixes the problem. The off-season plan was to add depth, defense in the post and on the perimeter to try and replace the loss of bridges. We still don't have a true starting caliber pointguard now that paul is gone. We've been needing a starting caliber replacement for three years now. The idea was to build a tough, scrappy, defensive identity . Those were vogel's words. Not sure how Beal fits in to frank vogel's defensive schemes. This team could of benefitted from adding a tough rebounding enforcer down low to help ayton. The kind we've been lacking since amundson and tucker left. Also really needed to find another lockdown defender in the backcourt and on the wing to pair with Josh okogie. We've been down this road before saying our offense will be enough, we'll just outscore everybody. That's not how the post-season works. Defense, size, unselfish team play. That's the formula that the past and current championship teams have used to win it all. I sincerely hope we find a way to add depth, defense and that interior enforcer or regardless of how much we score the result will be the same.
Him and D-Book are both 2 guards that's my only issue with it he could've made a little more sense in Philly Miami or Sacramento or something

If the Durant trade never happens and this trade happens I think the Suns would be better title contenders then they are now. Imagine Beal,Booker, Mikal. Cam Johnson and Ayton as a starting 5 and a 1st round pick and money to sign free agents . Damn what could have been 🤦♂️
