He wasn’t ready when he got here but he clearly holds himself accountable and has tried to grow into the kind of person and player who can thrive in NYC. You gotta respect that.
Julius has always been a good dude. And I assume when people see him in person, they treat him like the guy that he is, not the player. A person’s character is more important than basketball. I hope to god he steps up in the playoffs next year (assuming we make it), but his play during the playoffs is by no means a judgment on who he is. I would rather have him any day of the week than Kyrie.
