I don’t really trust the smoke. Pacers will make a trade but we certainly won’t hear anything about it until it happpens

Good. Keep him. I’d rather draft someone at 7 anyway. The much-ado-about-nothing rumors surrounding OG are nearing Myles’ and John Collins’ levels in terms of ubiquity and annoyance lol

Time to move on and pick at 7.

With sooooo many other options out there, it doesn’t make sense to give up much for OG. Instead, we could target Barnes, Kuzma, Grant, or draft a forward at #7.
Giving up anything serious for an injury-prone forward with one year left on his deal would be a mistake. If they were interested in, for example, #26 and #32 and Nesmith, then that’d be great. But that’s very unlikely to be enough for them.

my nightmare draft:
Wemby
Scoot
Miller
Amen
Ausar
Hendricks
Pacers at 7: Whitmore or Walker…
if that’s the case i’d rather trade the pick for OG. Maybe Anthony Black deserves consideration but i just don’t believe in Whitmore or Walker to be difference makers and think they pan out to be lesser players than OG.
honestly really hope we throw a big deal out for Mikal Bridges. Something like Hield, Nembhard, Jalen Smith, 7, 26, and two future firsts for Bridges and DFS.

In my experience, the more rumblings you hear about the Pacers’ interest in a deal, the less likely that deal is to happen.
I believe these rumors are most likely Toronto trying to make it look like there’s a bidding war.

OG just doesn’t move the needle for me. He’s a complimentary piece. We’re still looking for franchise guys, so I’d rather take a chance on landing a franchise guy than trading for a known 3rd option at best.

This is exactly the story that would be put out if you’re trying to get more for him.
