[Law Murray] While Russell Westbrook was seriously contemplating returning to the Clippers on that contract for slightly more than the veteran’s minimum, those sources said, that was before LA’s interest in Paul reached this degree. (No Russ-Paul pairing for Clippers)

Clippers have to make a choice between Russ and CP3. Should be an easy decision for them. We need a star than can play >60 games and Russ can be that guy. NOT CP3!!!

Mook/EG/RoCo are on expiring contracts. It shouldn’t be that hard to trade them. No reason to pull the trigger on a CP3 deal.

So we pissed Russ off from taking the minimum deal for CP38?

Surely we’re not choosing CP over Westbrook!!!

  3. jgroove_LA

so basically Russ’ rep is saying it’s one or the other, we get it

FO I’m begging you to do the right thing

as he should, outplayed cp0 but expect him to suit up for basically the min while paying cp0 30m? lmao

So he’ll only sign if he’s guaranteed the starting spot?

Jason Preston can play 60+ games too but I don’t want him as starting pg either

On one hand, CP makes a lot of money and is old, but on the other hand, if Russ goes, then all of the weirdos who just follow him around to every team will leave this sub.

Russ could be the entire second unit for this team but he never would. We just saw in the playoffs he’s still good, when he’s playing Russ ball. CP3 is a MUCH better fit with 213.

As much as I hate to say it, we don’t need as much of an offensive weapon if Klaw and PG are back. We need, and have for seasons since SGA, a pure facilitator with excellent assist:TO rate that can get the ball to our other stars with the precision of a Hollywood surgeon. Is Tyus Jones available?

In that case just take Russ and call it a day
