@Atlanta Hawks

Per Shams, “Phoenix and Atlanta had a deal in place to acquire John Collins that would’ve sent Chris Paul to a third team” Most likely would’ve been for filler and draft picks in return.

    This the second time we were in trade talks with Phoenix about sending JC over there then randomly a superstar trade happens and blows it up lmao

    so basically we would’ve been getting scraps from a team like the clippers or lakers. JC’s value must be in the gutter, damn

    This is the type of trades I see Hawks making.

    At least were making progress in trading him. The past 2 years the narrative has been that we’re “looking” to trade him, now were at the “had a deal in place” territory.

    I fully expect JC to not be on the Hawks roster come opening night, especially with Quin, Fields, and Korver running the show now.

    IT’S JJ TIME!! They’re trying to give JC away for free.

    call me crazy but trading capela for defensive pieces and letting JC regain his value in his natural role as the pick and role guy (instead of constantly being asked to space at the 3 point line) seems like a much better path than trading him for scraps
