They tied up 50M of the cap in the one type of player they didn't need. Incredible that Wizards got such an amazingly rotten deal and still won the trade

Wizard go off from that awful contract and even if they didn't get a treasure trove back they can finally rebuild.
Ironic. Nuggets win a championship and bury the Suns by having a bunch of perfect complementary players like Murray and Aaron Gordon around 1 super-star in Jokic, and the Suns go in completely the opposite direction! It reminds me of Lakers fans chortling "now we're winning the Championship!" after they signed Russell Westbrook. Suns need wing defenders. They need guys who can guard Jokic. They need multiple 2 guard-small forward defenders who can guard Jamal Murray or Steph Curry. In short they need depth and lengthy elite defenders who can hit 3's. While the Nuggets are constantly adding such players (like Christian Braun who had a huge impact in the Finals and rookie Peyton Watson), what are the Suns doing?

But what I don’t understand is when we trade for people teams want us to give 10 first round picks but when teams want our players they give us nothing just hate being a wizards fans 24 years of poverty

Finally a common sense reaction to the wizards. The impending CBA and the awful structure of the contract makes it a good trade for the wizards GM not to mention he didnt sign any of that
