It feels like joker is the wrong guy to model his game after. I think he should try to be Joel pryzbilla with better offense. A mean, hardworking defender who beats the shit out of whoever is around and finishes at a high rate. I like Timme in that role.
When Jokic was 22 he was averaging 18.5/10.7/6.1 in the NBA.

I like Timme, but this is ridiculous. He doesn’t have anything close to Jokic’s size or skill. He’s a classic guy who was great in college but doesn’t really have a role in the NBA, like Shelden Williams or Psycho T.
I’l be shocked if Timme gets drafted. I was a big fan of Garza but even he’s having a tough time breaking into an NBA role.
Mark Few at Gonzaga instills a lot of great qualities in his players that end up making it to the NBA.

Ok to be clear—Timme is actually being a bit self deprecating here. He is saying because Joker is sooo good—Teams are now randomly giving him more of a shot because he on the outside is a white, kinda dumpy, good offensive play maker.

I’m wondering if, as a result of the new CBA rules, and players like Christian Braun making a championship impact as a rookie, we’ll see more contending teams drafting players with a few years of college experience with eyes for them to help right now for cheap deals.
