On a lighter, non-trade rumor note, Dame hosted another alumni basketball classic at Weber State on Saturday. I was with a group of local journalists who’ve covered Weber State basketball over the years, and we got to chat with him again for a little bit. He’s a real one.

Awesome! I was attending Idaho State University while he was at Weber State. Both schools are in the Big Sky conference and played regularly against each other. I watched him play a couple times in college in half empty stadiums. Really wish I would have introduced myself to him. At those small schools you can just walk up to players after games and talk to them. Never did tho, my loss for being shy.
Dude is a legend in Ogden, Utah. That program and town love him.
