Hawks makes sense. They have a grab bag of role players who would fit the suns perfectly. And the hawks can build a trio around trae, murray, and ayton who fits trae young’s time line better than capela, bogdanovic, etc. do
I just don’t see ayton to the celtics at all. I know they’re enamored with brogdon so maybe we can get in as a 3rd team where brogdon and a couple role players from the hawks go to the suns, ayton goes to the hawks, but not sure what we’d get. Suns have nothing to give us and neither do the hawks unless it’s john collins which I would say no to. Not on that contract and his shooting has fallen off a cliff

Would match salaries but I don’t think it’s actually feasible.
Pritchard and Grant s&t for Ayton hopefully is the best case scenario for Boston
I think this actually makes sense for the Suns, we have role players and they NEED depth BADLY.
Would PHX be enticed with Grant, Gallo, and PP? I don’t think they’d want Brogdon especially with his contract. Realistically, maybe we’d be a 3rd team to facilitate the trade.
Hard pass on a softie who’s only slightly above average on offense and an unremarkable defender at a position where defense matters a lot. Oh and who also disappears in the playoffs.
I hope if we’re in talks around Ayton it’s as a 3rd team.

If this is the return, I’d rather us just keep Brogdon and package some salaries together for a center on MLE type money. Gafford? Harentstein?

A perfect trade for both teams would be something like Ayton for Grant Williams S&T + Pritchard & Kornet
Ayton is basically a salary dump.
He’s a 15 million dollar guy being paid 30 because of his draft position.
As far as centers go, horford and rob are flat out better players due to being way better defensively.
