Lacob needs to meet with Kerr and determine if Kerr was being hyperbolic by saying that without DRay there are no championships and won't be in the future. If Kerr was serious then maybe he needs to go too. What good is he if the losing cake is already baked.

Warriors r better without dray and Poole. Dray plays 1/5 good games. Pooles a flop. So move them.
People are just discussing salary and basketball, but if you look back at the last few years, Draymond has been more of a negative than a positive. 2019-20 he admitted on his podcast he quit on the team because they didn’t have a shot at the playoffs. 2020-21 with Klay still out he should’ve carried a bigger scoring load to help Steph and Wiggs but didn’t. 2021-22 he was unplayable at times in the playoffs. And then of course last year you had The Punch and erratic playoff play including a one game suspension. I appreciate what he’s done during this run, but it’s time to move on.

I think Dray’s real value was his ability to hold the other players in the locker room available and be the captain of the defense.

Draymond is is a significant part of the motion offense that we run or the only team in the NBA that runs this offense if you look at the stats Draymond Green and Steph Curry have 8526 in the pick an role- more than any team you just can't get rid of that
If Draymond walks, it's a real bummer. What they really really need is to trade these max contracts to get assets. Can you sign and trade him? Can you move the Klay 43mil expiring contract for the right pieces? Or do they crash land this roster for the next few years?
In the past, they've done an excellent job of getting the right pieces in the summer, but a horrible job of counter punching in season moves.
If the Dubs sign this guy they are nutz. You let him walk. You let Klay play out his final year. You go all in on JK and Moody. Then you trade Steph to grab a haul.

Draymond is in DECLINE!! Last two years there have been series we shouldn't/couldn't play him (look at finals last year! He even said he played like trash!). I don't know why ppl think Draymond is the be all, end all. If he leaves and we get an All Star to replace him, like Siakim are we really not contenders? In fact I would take Siakim over him now.
I love Dray. I love the punch. He should have punched Poole again during the playoffs when he walked away from him. That said, I thought even if he opted in, not sure he was worth that much. So, if he just goes off the books straight up (I admit, I don't get the salary cap), then that's Ok. Ideally, GSW has got to dump Poole to move forward, and not overpay Green, which basically means paying him one cent over 20M. He's probably worth less. He's just not in his prime anymore. It happens. Same is true with Klay. I love him to, but sometimes people get old.
