I’ll be shocked if Masai keeps this core the same. More boring basketball in 2023.

If he does and they do poorly I really think they need to fire him next summer. Theres no defence for running back a team after he said they weren’t fun to watch.

If Masai keeps the core the same then he’s just following the lead of the hockey side of MLSE and that’s a serious mistake. Both parts of MLSE needs major shake up IMO.

I have been following this team since it’s inaugural season in 1995. I was there through all of the horrible early years, I stayed after VC left and the team was mismanaged to hell, I stayed after Bosh left and we once again were directionless. And I was proudly here in 2019 when all that shit and pain was vindicated with the most satisfying title run imaginable.

I am not naive enough to say that this core is anywhere near the levels of bad I have witnessed before as a Raps fan, but I am not exaggerating when I say this… If Masai runs it back with this same core, I will be less interested in a Raptors season than I have ever been in my entire life as a fan.

Did you hate watching the Raps in 2021 too?

So, it was Masai’s schemes and lack of offensive creativity that did it last year? Never knew a president could overtake a coaches responsibilities in such a way……..
