  1. Smart to sell right before the current TV deal expires. NBA will get MUCH less TV revenue on the next contract. Players will see an end to the free money era. Jordan does not know how to lose financially. Scottie Pippen should have listened to him.

  2. They didn’t win under him, but he won 3 billion dollars!!! Winning aint easy some of the most popular franchises haven't won for decades. The GSW will return to mediocrity/losing once the Steph era ends, just like Spurs, Bulls, Lakers etc.

  3. 3 billion ! One he'll of a capital gains. I wonder where MJ will invest in next? Should be fun to watch the 🐐 next endeavor.

  4. I'm a jordan man and I'm here in the chi now. I can admit that Jordan's time az the HNIC there in Charlotte wasn't the best. He'd tried and made a profit.

  5. Now that he's sold the team maybe he and Barkley will become friends again.

  6. Charlotte is a small market it’s hard to keep players here and to get big name players to play here, let’s keep it 💯 did he do the best job naw, but without big names it’s hard, and those 90 teams were pretty good but look at how those guys like Morning and Larry Johnson left for the bigger markets 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️,

  7. Coincidentally it is 2pacs birthday today rip to the goat. Peep the symbolism, mj sells his team on tupacs birthday after 13 years of ownership. Tupac dies on Friday the 13th, the unluckiest day ever. Yall keep ya head up.

  8. Besides Charlotte being a small market team, Jordan is also a reason many star players never go to the Hornets in free agency.

They don't want to face the pressures of playing under Jordan. Expectations are just too high. So I can see why the experiment failed. I think Jordan being the owner ran players away from the Hornets. Most people aren't built to accept that challenge. Especially playing for a small market team.

  9. Dope he’s basically letting other local charlotte investors including J. Cole get on. At the end of the day it’s all entertainment W/L he made a hell of a flip financially that’s a win in my book!

  10. Let it be known, Charlotte was terrible before MJ owned it, but he has to take responsibility for the sh*t show of the last few years. He drafted horribly, had bad coaches and paid the wrong players. Charles was right, maybe he should now swallow his pride and make amends to his boy.

  11. Charlotte is not a destination for elite players to go to! He’s no different than other owners who own small market teams that if they don’t hit a Superstar in the draft they are not winning point blank period! Good for MJ on the sell and profit ‼️

  12. Yep. Early to mid '90s, Hornets were one of my favourite Teams to watch. Very exciting, good roster, and were the shhh marketing wise. Those teal Jerseys and the rest of their gear, everyone had 'em! Hornets, Bulls, Magic, and Michigan (I know they weren't an NBA) were right up there as the must haves. I only wore Michigan gear though like the Michigan Puffer Jackets, Hats. Still got them somewhere. Gosh we're going way back.

  13. Hornets were fun to play in NBA jam. Them and the Magic were my go to teams😃
