[Bondy] On offense, the 25-year-old became more of a spot-up 3-point shooter with the reserves. A source said Toppin was frustrated at times with his role, although he refrained from complaining to the media… A league executive tapped Toppin’s trade value as a late first-rounder.

Late first rounder after we drafted him with the 8th pick seems like a major depreciation of an asset

Free this man. Restart the clock in the draft. Shit is wild.

This was obvious. It was crazy through his first 2 years we saw Obi get alot of easy dunks and playing in transition and getting most of his buckets around the rim. This year they basicaly told him go stand in the corner and shoot 3s.

Thibs is a good coach but the frustrating part about him imo is he isnt good at maximizing a players strength rather he wants a player to fit into his system

Turning this high flying uber athlete into a corner 3 point guy was such a god awful decision by this organization

He should be frustrated. We’re not utilizing his talent in the slightest. Either use him or allow him to flourish somewhere else.
