PG and Kawhi were my favorite players before they came to the clippers. The day it was announced that they’d joined teams seemed like god speaking to me directly. I was excited. Posts like this bring me great sadness, back then I wouldn’t have believed either of them in trade discussions today. The “what if” hurts more than reality.

Dame and PG have notoriously not been cool. Doubt there is any truth to this. There’s a better chance that Dame would come to the clips, I’ve always wanted that, but the aforementioned beef is what I always recall when I play out that scenario.

im not the biggest PG fan but its undeniable what this man has done for this organization, sure him and kawhi never got it right causing a huge what if especially knowing we havent had a losing season in a 10 year span is nuts, and pg most recent years has earned my respect. with injuries and age creeping up he deserves to go with a team thats establishing themselves, think we’re taking a younger team approach focused around kawhi.
unless we can resign russ for cheap then id be down to run it back.
