My trade prediction – Ayton for Obi, IQ, Robinson or IHart.

This trade makes too much sense for both teams to not be kicking the tires on it as a framework.

We aren’t keeping Obi and IQ probably wants to move on and IQ can probably start in Pheonix with Chris Paul and Shamet out. They need the defense alongside Beal. They get the bird rights so they can shoot their salary to the moon and still resign them.

As much as a lot of you hate the idea of Ayton he anchored a top 3 defensive team 2 seasons ago and the best record in the NBA at 64 wins. Suns were #7 defensive rating last year higher than the Knicks that’s for sure. He doesn’t seem to be injury prone like Robinson and can hit a free throw and help stretch out the floor for RJ and Randle.

He also is “ONLY” making 32 million per year. Which is not crazy in todays NBA. IQ is probably going to make 20 mil per year soon.

P.S. I would also do a similar trade for Porzingis for similar money. I don’t know who can be had for less.

Edit: Lets get back to this once the dust settles after trades have been made to see if my prediction comes true.

I’d rather trade for KAT if we going this route lol

3 legit rotation players for a dude who might never be an All Star? No thanks

  3. ThisIsEduardo

i wouldnt take Ayton even for free. he’s the last thing this team needs.

No thanks. The questions coming out of college were always about his motor and work ethic. He played great in a contract year, but those questions have otherwise remained. He’s overpaid and your offer is too much. I’d rather have Mitch at his contract straight up.

Are you a damn troll? Or is this for real?

This isn’t a terrible deal. It make more sense than chasing bigger contracts with health issues.

  7. _sexhaver

Not a bad deal at all. Ayton is only 24 years old and is far better offensively than Mitch. I think with a change of scenery and a coach like Thibs, Ayton would thrive

This is the worst take I’ve seen in here for awhile

He might not seem as injury prone but Mitch has played more games than him the last two years. There’s a reasonable argument that Mitch has been a more valuable player than Ayton over their 5 seasons each – Mitch is winning in the advanced stats – never mind throwing in other valuable assets and paying double the salary.

For all 3 of them? Lmao. Gutting depth for a non star

Alright I think we need to make the sub private again after this one

Your trade prediction = the termination of leon rose

  13. Sparrow_Wilson

On the suns sub a couple of days ago a guy suggested Obi, Hartenstein & McBride for Ayton and all the suns fans said we’d never accept it to give you an idea of how Ayton is valued at this point

  14. joorral

So you want to trade a 6th man runner up, a rotation player and a guy that help jumpstart our post all star bid to the 5th and into the 2nd round/best offensive rebounder and defender in Robinson for a guy that has to be motivated by outside influence and argued with his coach. This some bozo shit

  15. Csoles520

Why wouldn’t we keep IQ? Also Ayton sucks dude was throwing tantrums while playing with Kd, Booker and Cp3.

And i hope this prediction is wrong on every way possible
